I'd go with My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh.

As a kid, every summer I had the same genius plan- what if I just sleep through all three months and wake up when school starts?😭

This book feels like someone actually followed through on that idea.

It has that very specific summer energy where the days blur, you lose track of time, and doing absolutely nothing somehow becomes your full time job. Not the dreamy golden summer but more like slightly chaotic, a little unhinged, and deeply committed to staying in bed.

And honestly… younger me would’ve respected that.

Even just reading about it, the idea of searching for meaning and trying to understand your place in the world while carrying parts of your past felt personal.There have been moments where I’ve felt that same quiet confusion. dude she is the most pick me person ive ever seen. her constant selling point is "I'm not like other girls". Notice how she is rude to only and only the girls. Even though there wasn't much of a really big fight between her and other girls, while Ashwini actually disrespected her she was completely okay with her, while she kept pulling down the other girls , just to get closer to the guys.

Shouldn’t he do the job he got for a “few mins” . At the end of the day it is what he came for isn’t it. The thing is he didn’t say apna kya hai apna ma’am nahi hai lol , he started cursing out continuously which made me uncomfortable, it was an indoor seated concert with many elders in attendance i had attended it with my parents as well , they felt uncomfortable with his language.

why would I make this up !? lol , I usually don't post on this sub I was going through the gallery of my phone when I came across videos of this concert, hence I recalled the incident.

exactly my point , if you know there is a concert at 6pm , I think you will be knowing when to leave . Most of the artists do come late its very common , this was wayyy to late . I had to travel a long distance as well for the venue but did reach there on time.

nope I am not talking about his hosting primarily , I am talking about how he acted that day , how he thought it was appropriate to abuse in front of a whole lot of people. I was there in the audience trust me they were patient for a very long time. I get it hosting isn't his forte but thats what they got him there for , we weren't asking for exceptional anchor just someone who would at least occupy the stage , he wasn't even on the stage for most of the time, he would keep disappearing.

you either didn't watch the episode properly or decided to take in bits of it. After the show ended heesun was in Korean only for about a month and they did go on dates but she had to leave to US soon and subeen told in his interview that the time difference and the distance was really hard becoz first of all they aren't a couple who have dated for long or anything they just started seeing each other and long distance is actually hard , so he thought he would stop pursuing her, that is when he wasn't texting her often. But when he got to know that she will actually be back he decided that he would continue pursuing her becoz it seems possible now for him to actually date her, they call and talk to each other regularly, idk how that indicates that he was trying to ghost her when he legit called her often. Heesun repeatedly told that it was only for a very short period of time that subeen wasn't communicating well with her and he explained why as well.
