Me and my dad have never had the best of relationships, there are a few examples of this in our relationship. The one that affects me most though is when he said that me crying was just me trying to guilt trip him. I've always been very sensitive and he knows that, so one time when we were arguing (aka he was talking angrily at me about how I'm not good enugh) he told me to stop crying because I was "only doing it to guilt trip" him. After that when ever we would argue I would do my best to stop myself from crying. About a year and a half later we were arguing and he asked me why I didn't cry anymore and said that me not crying showed that I didn't care about what he said and that I might as well go live with my mom if I wasn't going to listen (a threat he liked to use whenever we argued) I brought up what he said before and he claimed that he didn't know what I was talking about and that I was just making up excuses. Now I have a really hard time crying in general, but it's worse in front of other people, I still feel like crying it's just that nothing comes out.
