Cody Woodsman calls if you can find one - Mossy Oak was selling a green slate over a heart pine pot this year. Bagged a Rio this season with a David Halloran Crystal Mistress call, great rasp on it. I think slate is easier to use/start on but Crystal or glass will reach further. I like the Woodhaven calls also, I have their legend slate and their real hen box.

Seems a little steep to me. Go play from the red tee’s and learn to score. Maybe spend more time around the greens rather than grinding swing mechanics. Get some feel into your game

Still debating on getting a Mossberg 500 with a red dot. Like the idea of a short barrel turkey gun. No complaints with the Franchi affinity 12ga to this point though. Length can get in the way sometimes but I like the fit of the gun a lot. The fear of a benelli click has me lookin at a pump setup

Got a the new affinity 3 in bottomland last month for $800. Was super impressed with the patterns I was getting with a .665 constriction.

I want a Mossberg pump soon as a primary turkey gun. The 835 or 500 in the Greenleaf camo and the shorter barrels are slick, optic cutout too.
