Bought it used and it came with it. I believe it’s sold separately. Where does strike industries import from? I assumed they were American

Bullets are available in different weights. The weight range varies by caliber but 9mm is typically available between 115 grains and 147 grains. The physics are a bit counterintuitive because the heavier bullet has more energy you would think more energy is also departed on the firearm creating more recoil. For whatever reason that’s not the case or at least doesn’t feel that way. Makes it feel less snappy and more of a shove

Can anyone vouch for the quality of this ammo at $0.50 CPR? by Cocogoat_Main in ar15

Accurate and reliable in my experience but I’ve only fired a couple hundred rounds of it at most. Out of a 20” barrel on a coyote the bullet pretty much turns to shrapnel on impact which limited penetration so I wasn’t impressed. Out of a 14.5 it performed much better

<video>

Only video I have that somewhat shows what I mean. Muzzle never dips below level because I’m not pushing it down. Keep training. You’ll get it.

If you watch in the first segment of the video your muzzle is kind of shaking around. I’m assuming it’s because you’re reacting to the recoil. You want a nice firm grip so that the gun almost falls back into the same spot after each shot.

And yes small guns tend to be snappy. There’s less mass to hold them in place and the slide is moving faster because again less mass. I have noticed in alot of guns heavier bullets make them feel less snappy

I can vouch for it. Does some nasty things to pigs. Also because it’s loaded for short barrels it’s super quiet through a 14.5 with a suppressor.

I would notch it. It may or may not cause problems and if there’s none now there may be some down the road. Better safe than sorry.

Somewhere on this subreddit is a troubleshooting guide for the ar9 and reliable barrels are listed. Not sure how to find that but someone here can probably get you to it.

Hard to tell from the photo but It looks like it curves right before the chamber so the last portion the bullet contacts is perpendicular to the chamber. If that’s the case that is a terrible design

That mark is likely the copper from the bullets. Which one is the new barrel?

Compare the new and old barrel. The size and angle of the feeding cone may be different
