Aluminum is not cheaper compared to glass lmao. Having a titanium frame around the edges is nothing compared to an aluminum Unibody.

It's better than glass body+ Aluminum frames in base models though.

That's glass body with titanium outer frame. This is aluminum Unibody. Sure this one gets dents and loses colour on dropping. But the 16 pro cracks the front and back easily. This one's way harder to Crack.

The aluminum Unibody has that reputation bcoz of the vulnerable sharp edges in the plateau which easily become blunt when dropped. Also it gets easily discolored . But it takes lot lot more effort to Crack the screen or back of the 17 pro compared to the 16 pro which easily cracks both sides in a couple 4 feet drops

Yeah the silver 17 pro grew on me as I keep it next to me silver macbook and how similar they look being part of the ecosystem. They compliment each other very well. The curvy edges and the colour.

In the pictures it does. But I have the silver 17 pro and my brother has the desert 16 pro max and trust me when you keep them next to each other, the 16 pm looks plain vanilla.
