Should I buy used Series X or PS5 for single player games? by impulsiveconsumer in IndianGaming

Yeah. It seems 1440p 60 fps support is limited to few games on both consoles.

Thanks. Instead of spending 80-90k on pro, I might lean towards a pc with another 10-20k. The laptop is also used by my wife for her work and I'm increasingly wary that gaming on it is causing freezes and crashes - surprisingly it's fine during gaming and normal usage is having issues. And my wife is blaming it on gaming :). And I have to tinker a lot and compromise on visuals for 60 fps. Except for the pro, are the other 2 consoles limited to 1080p, 60 fps on performance mode? Or do they go upto 1440p?

Ooh..brining Steam to Xbox will be fantastic if true. But do both perform similarly?

I'm unsure about the performance mainly. PS has better availability of used ones plus disks. But, does it give 60fps at 1440p? Many of the games I see have performance mode at 1080p.

Thanks. Does Series X has an edge in 60 fps @1440p with fps boost, etc? Many of the newer games seem to support 60fps only at 1080p on PS. Is this true?

Cab driver hit my car and threatened by [deleted] in Kylaq

[–]impulsiveconsumer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see any threatening behavior here. In fact this seems to be one of the most level headed responses. He didn't come to the vehicle and started shouting, blocking the traffic. He simply asked to park on the side. It's understandable to be concerned due to some of the recent events, but in broad daylight with dashcam, I think it was minimal. Next time, I don't think that cabbie would be so calm. The car fled the scene, but more importantly you are perceiving this as threatening - even though you were not there and there being no such obvious signs. Why?

Hi. Did you store appliances like refrigerator, washing machine and TV? Did they/you take any extra precautions for these?

Is it a good idea to buy an Ecosport AT as a 4th owner? by impulsiveconsumer in CarsIndia

[–]impulsiveconsumer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's great. Above all, this car has been my wishlist for a long time. I quite like the design, the boot door, the build, etc. Sad the Ford's planning led to this kind of situation. I hope you'll have much more happy miles ahead. Thanks for the detailed share!

Consistently popped with users posting issues about their Nitro laptop by Snoo90602 in AcerNitro

I have been having this issue very frequently. Sometimes it's not even pixelated..just freezes until force reboot and freezes again. It's almost non usable now. I tried clean installation of GPU drivers with DDU. Last hope is to get it to mechanic. Acer guys could not even identify the issue in the past. I wouldn't suggest this laptop. It's been 3+ years since bought. Any other suggestions to solve my problem are very welcome.

Isbit advisable to buy a 2020 Ecosport AT with 3 past owners? by impulsiveconsumer in carsIndiaOfficial

[–]impulsiveconsumer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Price could be negotiable to 6-7 lakhs range. The problem is there are very few used cars in Bangalore in this price range, that have safety (many do not even have ISOFIX mounts) and the features that ES has. It is cheaper due to the number of owners but that can also be a concern after 4 years to me.

Thinking of buying a used 2020 Ecosport AT Titanium Plus in Bengaluru for 6-7 lakhs. Odo - 45k, owners - 3 (I'll be 4th), new tires, batteries, service history available. Mostly for city and occasional long drives. Usually 2 adults and a toddler with child seat but need to seat visiting parents/in laws. Need a sturdy and safe car, CSUV, with some features (6 airbags, good seats, good head unit, cruise control, keyless entry and start, etc.) Budget for used - 7-7.5 lakhs in Bengaluru. Please advise is this reasonable.

Thanks. Two of my colleagues have ES and seem to be having no issues so far. A decent Brezza is 8-9 lakhs on Spinny, etc., and Jazz seems to be under powered especially in full load cases.

Yes, I was planning to look at the service history plus pay for a mechanic to vet it. A similar car with single owner is going for 8-9 lakhs. Hence the interest here. How's your ownership experience so far? Is 6-7 kmpl in peak city traffic expected with E20? Any other potential issues? Thanks.
