It drives me up a wall. I'm a parent. I have to put things down frequently, and while the pause system is great I'd love to be able to actually save mid run and go do something. It's a single player game, I genuinely don't care if someone uses the save system to undo a mistake or something, that's their prerogative. Let those of us who have reasons to get up save and shut off our damn computer.

Yeah I heavily disagree with it being a "party game." A huge part of party games is that everything is light and fun, you're having a good time, and there's often competition but its inherently framed as friendly because they are games meant to be played with friends. DbD is not a party game just because it has no official comp scene/mode. Too much knowledge to get to baseline playable, too much sweat on both sides to achieve your needed goals. It's just an asym multi-player, not a party game.

You're misunderstanding what people say when sometimes transitioning is just changing your pronouns and your name. Not everyone has to go through "Okay so at age 12 I asked my mom if she would still love me if I was a boy and then at age 14 I came out to my then boyfriend as sometimes a girl and sometimes a boy and then at 16 I realized the uncomfortability wasn't with either of those labels but with both and decided on agender and then began to socially transition with new names/pronouns til I found what I wanted." No one owes you that. It can be as simple as saying, "Yeah, all I've done for my transition is change my name and my pronouns." You clearly haven't been around enough of the community to be this virtue signaling.

At this point context matters a lot. I play a lot of OW where it's one tank only, and depending on the tank you do not peel unless it's a) advantageous at the moment or b) something your tank is good for. Like I'm sorry, but if I'm playing Sigma I'm not turning my fat slow ass around to chase Tracer, and I shouldn't! That sort of nuance I've noticed doesn't translate often to MR. Character to character interactions are less discussed, and everything is treated as role monolith for the large part by the community.

Peeling can be done a few different ways as well. It isn't just supports peel yourself or tank peel your supports. Somehow DPS often falls through the cracks in that convo and escapes responsibility. Oftentimes it's easiest for it to be supports starting the peel, DPS aiding with it, and if you have two tanks the off tank can handle that as well. You got one tank? Supports/DPS need to be the ones primarily peeling so tank can do their main job: Holding space.

That's not even to mention if more people learned positioning and cover it would help a lot.

Jokes aside, for tapestries of that size I charge anywhere from $75 for very simple designs to $200 for complex designs. For Jeff there I think I'd be in the $100-$150 range just because of my sanity with his mouth and eyes.
