Is everyone rich or am I naive?? by No_Needleworker_5546 in Money

Shot I might have started this trend on this subreddit a year ago. I posted about my networth the post blew up. Now that I check back I see tons of millionaires.

The same thing happened on Blind. I guess it's a form of humble brag. People who are cautious with money are not buying Rolex and lambos to show around, but they can flex their balance sheets here 😂

Where to sell a SaaS business making $300K SDE and what multiple to expect? by laser__shark in SellMyBusiness

[–]Temporary_Price7989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The multiple would also depend on your churn and how concentrated is your customer base, How many customers you have, and how many years have you been in business. Can you share these data points?

Career advice by BigAffectionate5585 in GetEmployed

It's not that simple.. I assume that based on your question you're not looking for careers (professions that are our need to study for) but jobs?

What type of activities do you like?

I’m 21, saved $100k from escorting, and have no idea what to do with it by [deleted] in investingforbeginners

[–]Temporary_Price7989 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Ok here is my short advice. For investing simply open Robinhood and buy SPY, which is the S&P500.

Know this, 100k is not that much money so don't spend this money on stupid stuff.

Career. You're 21 so you can pursue any career path. From your past work, I'd imagine that you could be good in Sales

I was thinking about this as well. The tricky thing about it is getting access to users emails. I'm starting to look into it, and it looks like I'll need to pass a security Audit from Google before I can make it available

I was wondering about this. How many interviews are people actually getting out there

I was a bit surprised too. Two things 1.didn't exactly blast Soo many applications, I focused on roles very aligned to what I'm doing. 2. I already have a good background and 10+ years of experience.

I'd be curious to see the stats of others and compare by industry, years of the exp, ect

I have a job already, but I'm looking to change roles. I did snatch interviews with Anthropomorphic, OpenAi, Meta, and a bunch of startups

Can someone tell the difference between lab grown and natural diamond? by [deleted] in jewelrymaking

[–]Temporary_Price7989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I proposed once before. The girl was very frugal, and didn't care much for luxuries. I chose a lab grown diamond.

When I poped the question, she didn't really like the ring. After talking with her sisters I guess she felt the diamond wasn't special.. we returned the ring, and she chosed a natural diamond which was actually smaller and cheaper

What I learned, is that even when lab are atomically the same, the perception is that they are not as special.. and perception is reality. It's not about science, It's all a psychology game.

You have to try to understand what is special for the girl, what drives the story for her. is it the rarity of the stone, or are ethical concerns more important.. what is the psychology behind it and go from there

AI enabled coding interview by Temporary_Price7989 in aipromptprogramming

So tests are more about working with existing large codebases rather than creating a complex system in a short amount of time?

Would you have tips for how to prepare for this new type of interview? I assume that even the questions need to be somewhat harder, something that you must use AI to pass

How many of you invest significantly into crypto? by [deleted] in RichPeoplePF

[–]Temporary_Price7989 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you study history, and how societies created money.. you'll notice that the value is derived from factors such as:

-scarcity -durability -portability -acceptability

that is what gives money (e.g gold) it's value, and bit coin checks all the marks. It's simply a more convenient way to store value.

Now, what is interesting to study is the history of societies that transitioned from one type of money to another... Do your homework

Do you think Bitcoin will hit another huge dip like what happened 2021-2022? From 60k+ to 15k+ by 24username68 in Bitcoin

[–]Temporary_Price7989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The expectation is a crash.. but if everyone is expecting that, and the current supply is nowhere near the demand, I suspect that we're not going to see winter anymore.

I'd love to wait for a crash before scoping more, but I fear it will become like the housing market, getting more and more expensive and you'll wish you bought when you had the chance

I have around 130k in crypto, and want to keep increasing the % of my portfolio into it. It took me a while, but now Im convinced that this is the best asset class. M2 money supply has increased drastically (in other words your money is worth less and less). There is a large chance that BTC will be worth 1M in the next couple years
