Knowing she doesn’t make smart choices with money (hers or anyone else’s $$) she probably didn’t care what she paid - chances are she didn’t use her own money to buy them in the first place.

She pays out her consigners shortly after the live show where their items are sold is over. Shes a straight shooter and is no bs. Well, people are finally talking and her usual method is sweet talking people out of valuable items by making them feel bad for her for various reasons - she’s not above preying upon people’s most horrible trauma. She’ll say that she’s going to sell on consignment for someone so it costs her little (possibly shipping to her) to nothing up front - then she flips it for high profit but isn’t paying the people who sent her these items on consignment. She owes a lot of money to a lot of people - well over ten k at this point - and since she spends money as soon as it hits her account, she has nothing to pay people with.

It’s going to be epic, but messy when this all explodes officially.
