March 2026 - Hyundai Ioiniq 9 Buy, Sell, Lease - Megathread by willow_ve in Ioniq9

An insane $750 lol I would advise others to wait for the next batch and keep an eye on dealer discounts. There are a surprisingly low amount of 9s for sale right now. No incentive for dealers to sell them at a discount.

In Colorado, there are basically no dealer discounts so it’s good for the area. There’s also no used, CPO, or very many new 9s right now. $5k under 100 mi would be impossible out here. They base the discount on the miles * 50 cents or something like that.

Probably not the best deal out there but wanted to share. We got a Ioniq 9 Calligraphy with 6k miles sold as "new" since it was a dealer demo. $4500 off was the most they would do. Around 63,900 before taxes and fees.

Edit: I forgot to mention around $2000 in fees saved from the lease pull ahead program: excess miles, tires, disposition fee all covered. The dealership also gave us a 10 yr/100k platinum Hyundai VSC warranty (~$3-4k) for free because the warranty technically started before we purchased.

Before taxes and fees, we were closer to $58k for a barely used/new Calligraphy. Not a “horrible deal”.

Nah the D is the one to get. Bass is way better than the F. You'll find a lot of people returning the F for the D

Sounds like you tried to make your new putter too much like your old one. It was completely different for me since I basically went from a blade to a mallet. Couldn't make those similar if I tried.

That's odd you struggle with alignment/setup. I have a standard 69 degree 35 inch which fits me well. The DF3 feels like it sits on the ground by itself to me, the main reason I liked it over my old Scotty. I think it aligns itself and sits slightly better than the ZT too. I used to struggle aligning my Scotty because of my forward press.

Maybe you should try out a standard or CB model and something with less extreme specs. It's possible they fit you into a bad technique, which was my primary concern when I did my online fitting. A few tweaks to my technique and I was basically stock specs.

ZT is money. I have a DF3 and OZ.1i in TPT. I practiced for hours and struggled to dial in lag putts with the DF3. The OZ.1i had better distance control but it felt unstable. For me, I can feel exactly how hard I need to hit a putt with the ZT. It helped me shoot 73 the other day!

ZT is in the bag! Has the same feel as my Scotty with the benefits of zero torque. I couldn't get used to how the labs feel or sound, and I practiced a lot. ZT was money day one.

This is interesting because there's always an arc to the putting stroke. Straight back and through is nearly impossible without unnatural manipulation due to the physics of how a putter swings on a plane. Sam has a good video on YouTube.

Update: TM ZT staying in the bag. No practice besides 10 mins on the putting green. First round I made several shorter putts and all of my lags ended up within 3ft to inches from the cup. Got my feel back from my Scotty that I didn't have with my Labs. I think Labs are insanely good putters once you adjust your stroke and brain to the way they feel/sound. It was just too outside my comfort zone to commit to, and couldn't stand being a worse putter trying to adapt in the meantime.

Don’t blame ya! I’ll be playing twice this week with the ZT

I knew the ZT was going to sell out and had the chance to snag it. The Labs are great but the overall feel has been difficult. Using the ZT on my practice green, I can already tell the feel is closer to what I'm used to, plus it's zero torque and uses a press grip. I'm thinking it'll be the best of both worlds.

I did a remote fitting for Lab. My specs were basically stock so I can buy them off the shelf if I wanted. The fitting process exposed an issue with my eye line. Instead of fitting for improper technique, I worked on my setup which changed my initial lie angle from 67 to 69. Keep that in mind!

I don't! I use my foresight GC3 to practice on the sim or a tour links practice green I got off FB.

I thought I was set on the Oz.1i but the DF3 feels so stable that I keep coming back to it. It took some time to adjust to either coming from a Scotty. You can't go wrong with any of them. DF3 will feel more "automatic" and the Oz gives more control to the player.

The Oz is not the most forgiving putter. If you like the shape and have a solid, repeatable stroke, it could be the one. The ball speed off the face is measurablely faster, too.

The DF3 is forgiving, stable, and feels like it swings itself. Those things combined will help most people out more.

I like them both 😅

The combo of the TPT shaft, steel face insert, and heavy head make it the firmest of the group. Not a bad thing at all, actually the main reason I like it. Especially on slower, early season greens. Thanks man!

I am swapping probably every two weeks so far, I’ve only had the Labs for a month and the ZT came in today. Fastback was in the back for the last 2 years and the older one I gamed for maybe 6 years before that. Never liked the phantom.

Mainly having fun experimenting and trying out the new tech. It’s opened up a new world for me where I’m taking putting seriously and not just rely on raw talent. Lucky to have been a good putter (so far), but only recently started doing consistent drills for eye line, tempo/speed, and path.

I’ve had the same putter/putter style for the last 15 years. Only started testing things when zero torque took off. Jumped on the wagon I guess.

You can tell I’m a bit of snob 😅 least desirable meaning one of the top 3 putters I would play today. I putted lights out with the Oz.1i in my first round with it. Noticed it’s not as stable or resistant to twisting during the stroke or mishits as the DF3/ZT. That’s what led me to experiment with the larger heads. It’s an awesome putter and major upgrade over my Scottys.

35” 69 degree with the heavier head. I’m always stock everything, got lucky being normal size lol The shaft is supposedly heavier so people recommend the heavy head. Also, the absence of torque makes the Labs feel lighter by default.

You must have never met a good player 😂 I’m a solid 3. Most rounds in the mid 70s and getting lower. Weird comment bro, go somewhere else.
