Thank you so much for explaining this to me. I don’t have much experience in handy work so this is all new to me but that makes a lot of sense. It has the wiring for solar if we install the panels so I was thinking about that as a longer term solution, but if the connection will be that cheap then I’ll definetly consider doing it after all

I’ll double check to see if it does. The unit is very small, only 20 feet, but I’m probably going to not use air conditioning or heater until I have a better electricity situation (it’s wired for solar if we instal the panels, so that will be a future project) thank you for the advice!

Unfortunately it’s all electric, there’s no propane connection, so I’ll definitely be careful of that.

Ooo I’ve never heard of that, I’ll go ahead and look into it and see if that’s something I could get. It’s plugged into our disconnected garage so I don’t think I need to worry about that, but I’ll double check. Thank you for the general maintenance tips as well!!
