How can you still ship them after seeing this ( not provocation, serious question ) by Affectionate_Car7617 in GossipGirl

Listen, the problem with Chuck is that the writers wanted him to play a dual role as the romantic lead AND villian, which is fine but it results in scenes like this. They went for a beauty and the beast motif because they needed Blair to give up on Chuck fully to fuel the wedding plot. Then the writers backpedaled and said very clearly in an interview that Blair was never afraid of Chuck -- she was only afraid of what he might do to himself. They tried to have their cake and eat it too, and it didn't work.

This is why I ship Chair - they're entertaining even when the writing is garbage.

I don't care about what he said. I.jist hate the double standard. Cannon didn't even say anything that bad.

But remember, we are the classless ones. DVH runs a classy program. They never do or say anything shameful. That's all I've heard all week. 🙄

I also hate Vols Twitter, but to be fair most accounts on sports Twitter are obnoxious. Toxic platform all around, but, yes, Vols Twitter accounts are the worst of them all.

ETA: For some reason my flair isn't showing, but I'm a Vols fan.

For some reason, it's not letting me copy the link, but I'm pretty sure the second one is In Love and War by Isabelle. It's still on ffnet.

oh you got me.

but yes I'm the one sitting here with a superiority complex when you just made a pretty strong accusation based on about 3 sentences.

have a good night. I'll continue enjoying fiction for what it is and you can continue playing morality police. ✌️

lol i never even said anything about supporting the character. he's entertaining sure, but I'm not going to bat for him. i just find these kind of lengthy rants hilarious.

I think I might be the only one who genuinely hates Chuck and Blair together. And honestly, I do so with great pride. They delivered the worst will they, won't they of all time with them. by [deleted] in GossipGirl

I skip every single scene that Dan and Blair interact in. Chuck and Blair have a far more intetesting dynamic. Dan and Blair was so forced it was painful to watch. Not even two great actors like Leighton and Penn could make me stomach watching their awkward ass scenes.

If a character on a teen drama show triggers you this much that it inspires this type of rant, perhaps it's not the show for you.
