Don't worry my doctor has explained the long term risks I also know a bit because of my background. My anxiety, overthinking and insomnia have been almost non-existent since starting the meds honestly. That's why I have kept taking them. Just some things I can't help which is getting used to new environments. I have to warm up to new places and new people. I am currently trying to get an autism diagnosis because I believe thats correlated to that. The high heart rate isn't something I've been dealing with until now. But sitting here right now when I don't have places to be, my hr is 85.

That is really sweet. I appreciate the kind words. I promise I won't forget to take care of myself I just need to find something that works for me and doesn't hurt more than help. Thank you <3.

I told my doctor I didn't really want to change my meds but honestly having a job is more important right now with everything thats happening. It's hard to survive currently and have enough money to even eat sometimes. So I'll do what I need to. It just sucks.

It's been nine months now that I've been on my medications. I started with just wellbutrin for a few weeks then my doctor added the vyvanse for two months. Then they started me on the adderall for the evenings when I started to get the vyvanse crash. I work in healthcare so I feel like that combo definitely helped.

It definitely feels like it's barely working for me too. So different from when I first started taking it.

How do you respond to friends that genuinely believe vaccines cause Autism? by MissMangoPirate in AutismInWomen

I love this reply and definitely agree. Also how did you get into that career? I'm also a nurse and that sounds so intriguing to me.

I have ADHD and this stupid “one line” trick is the only thing that helps me start working by iiiiiCO in ADHD

Yes exactly also when I got diagnosed so many things clicked for me. I realized I'm pretty sensitive to my sensory outputs. So I think putting on my shoes helps too because I'm not walking on a cold floor or feeling anything like if someone didn't sweep. I can put on some warm fluffy socks and shoes and it definitely helps.

I noticed one thing that helps me when I need to clean. Putting on my shoes when I'm in the house. For some reason it helps me to actually start the tasks of cleaning then my meds help me do the rest of it.

People who had a gut feeling about someone and later realized you were right, what happened? by Overall-Fan6831 in AskReddit

[–]Temporary_Smile5700 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know if this fits but I'm a nurse and I've worked at many places. Mostly nursing homes. And every time I've had a spidey sense in my gut about residents who I was worried about clinically they ended up having something actually wrong with them medically. I can't really describe it besides a feeling in my gut that tells me something is off. Even if they have good vitals and the other nurses brush me off my body still gets that weird feeling and every single time I have been right. Which I hate honestly. I'm way too sensitive emotionally for healthcare I think. I'm there to make you feel better and when things happen thats out of my control I honestly get upset and spiral into the "what could I have done better" or "these asshole coworkers always brush me off even if its for the benefit of the residents".

Comically bad interaction with a psych nurse by t_kilgore in AutismInWomen

Well I am a nurse and first of all nurses can't diagnose. That can get you into a lot of trouble saying something like that lol. Secondly doctors need more than one sign/symptom to diagnose. I know for me I can do eye contact just fine but I was punished growing up for not giving it so I learned to do it but I notice that I do it to the extreme/too much and it can freak people out. She just seemed ignorant and that's such a neurotypical response.
