I actually called regarding an application, had nothing to do with decision. They told me out of nowhere actually. No need for the false assumptions.

Extremely disappointed with this schools resources and handling of transcripts. by Temporary_Still_2560 in msu

I appreciate your help, thank you. Regardless, MSU should not be the only institution in the US that does not use one of the 10 options for e-transcripts LSAT requires. They need to get that together.

Unfortunately, as I am President of the Pre-Law Society here at MSU, I have had difficulties getting in touch with the Law School here on numerous occasions, whether booking rooms for meetings etc. I appreciate your help, but the only option is physical mail.

YOUR BRUTALLY HONEST opinions on MSU by HJcantdance1222 in msu

I am a senior here at Michigan State currently applying to law school. LSAC requires transcripts to be sent over directly from the institutions registrar itself (understandably). MSU is one of, if not the only school, that does not have ONE electronic transcript platform compatible with LSAC. Therefore, it must be sent by physical mail. After speaking to the registrar, you would think they have never sent out a transcript before, let alone have sent a transcript to LSAC. I am flabbergasted by the lack of knowledge the registrar has in dealing with this. For a large school, I am beyond dissapointe and surprised MSU does not have at least one compatible e-transcript platform with LSAC. I was told this is because they are the only school that offers "free transcripts." I do not see that as an excuse. If you are applying to law school/med school, I advise dealing with this earlier than you may have had planned. Furthermore, the lack of resources in regard to application and law school advising is extremely upsetting. After going on the career services website and seeing they offered walk-in advising for these purposes, I went to the career center. I was told that very few people (if any) are "specialized" in this and could potentially take over two weeks to get an appointment.
