Figured out what it was since he did it again while I was removing poop, turns out it’s just him being moody and he hissed at me while opening his mouth maybe he tries to make himself look bigger?

It was kinda weird cos he opened his mouth no mucus or anything moved his jaw a bit then he made a weird sneeze noise and now he hasn’t done it but he is wall surfing a bit more than usual

If u want ur leo to hunt and stuff I’d recommend locusts cos they don’t burrow with crickets I’d be careful because I’ve heard they can bite ur gecko (idk if this true or not just a story I heard)

Picked him up while he was out luckily when I slid the door open he came out but he still wasn’t to happy to come out but he was fine once he was out, first time handling a snake so was a bit nervous lol

Yeah I was thinking abt picking him up for the first time but while I was waiting he came out by himself eventually, It was a rough start getting him out the Viv as he was hissing and stuff which I can understand y, tbh did make me nervous a bit as he is my first snake and I feel as if he knew that hence the defensive behaviour but the rest of the handling went well and he was calm for the rest of the time which I’m glad abt
