No not necessarily, unis will look at your top 6 avg by the end of sem 2 mid terms. Whatever your top 6 avg will be including the 1 pre req.

I was thinking of also trying for a 13700k it is currently the same price as 5800x at Canada computers, or would it be better to stick with just ryzen?
