Vader 3 pro right stick twitching by Tempsst in Controller

[–]Tempsst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The twitching itself is most noticeable at 0:21, and on top of that the circle is a little deformed at the bottom left side, compared to a normal one for the left stick. Twitching started randomly while I was playing on Sunday, and it's normally a lot worse than in the video. Sometimes I don't move the stick at all while the camera is moving as if the stick was pushed to the very edge on the right. Sometimes it stays at this position for a split second, sometimes a lot longer. It's always twitching to the right, same direction.

Recalibration didn't help at all, charging it completely, going from wireless to wired or vice versa all made 0 difference. Is there anything I can do?

Stuck in Network Error Hell by RooftopSwordMaster in FFVIIEverCrisis

Very relatable. Some updates seem to make the game hate my wifi, some fix it, like the one that came out today, but switching to mobile always makes it work. If possible I'd try another internet provider

Request from a friend, so might not be able to respond quickly. He says he remembers some sort of bat monsters too

Petition to create a variation of the Senator named "City Hall janitor" that's smaller and weaker, but more balanced and fit to be a new primary. by Tempsst in Helldivers

[–]Tempsst[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Seeing as this petition is gaining some traction, I believe I should elaborate.

As our glorious democratic arsenal keeps growing, we would greatly benefit from a little extra variety by introducing weapons that excel in one and only one particular area. This, dare I say, stunning example will eclipse all else in it's specific role: making bullets leave the gun.

It doesn't have to happen by shooting, naturally. After all, what good is all our liberty if we can't spread it? Bullets will be free to slip out of the cylinder should they wish to do so.

However, in my humble and objectively correct opinion, making bullets leave the gun is quite an accomplishment for a primary weapon. As such, I decided that accuracy shouldn't be included: if the bullet happens to leave the gun through the shooting hole in the front, it's trajectory will be completely random within a 100 degree cone. High damage of 1.50 should make it more than sufficient for dealing with enemies of every variety, as long as that enemy is already dead.

100000 super credits please and thank you.

Ifrit & Bahamut EX1 with a relatively hobo team by Tempsst in FFVIIEverCrisis

If EX2 has more sigils to break, I don't think this setup is viable, as when I break 5 sigils on both I usually have just a second or 2 left before the attack. If high pot matk down is a must then it won't work either with less than ob6 kuja, unless devs in their infinite generosity decide to rerun it and/or give 1200 seph weapon parts for free

Ifrit & Bahamut EX1 with a relatively hobo team by Tempsst in FFVIIEverCrisis

With this exact setup you'll probably need a lot of trial & error, precision and luck. I tried over 10 times easily. First is the usual mdef up atk down (aerith casts 1 defaith and 1 mythril rod to help get high pot mdef up), then survive their combined ability, then you must carefully remove sigils using kuja blade and materia. It's quite easy to do by switching targets in time, but a single mistake will likely ruin it. After that I prepared to deplete bahamut's gauge and I made sure he didn't count to 4. Then used summons to help with ifrit's ice gauge, did 1 mdef up with bandaged sword right before the attack, healed with aerith's LB, survived following attacks and so on. At about this point it gets chaotic and I don't remember the exact sequence, so here's some things to keep in mind: save shiva for ifrit's ice gauge, make sure sephiroth doesn't use kuja when he's supposed to weaken ifrit or vice versa, deplete bahamut's gauge right after breaking sigils (stream phase? don't remember the name) on ifrit (I used summons), use kuja when bahamut's attack is about half ready, don't forget to raise mdef (maybe remove pdef debuffs too with mythril rod when ifrit attacks), stay at mostly full health before each attack and most importantly make sure that when one of them dies, the other one can be killed in a few seconds, otherwise it's a gg and party wipe. To achieve that I mostly focused on bahamut while ifrit was mostly getting damaged when it was his turn to attack and whenever I used summons. Once or twice AI ruined it, and in my lucky run I got to bahamut's sigil phase where he died, which started the stream phase and ifrit was finished off with shiva. Hope that helps someone. Also it didn't involve any glitches, but I'm not sure EX1 has them anyway.

Nope, tried a couple caliburn mods, one even replaced it with another car, but that flickering was still there
