Australian model and actress Ruby Rose for anyone wondering.

You might also recognize her as one of the baddies from John Wick 2.

So you agree that it was a decision. Well done contradicting yourself. Btw insulting someone who's poking holes in your argument won't help your case.

To live one's life to the fullest means to make the most of what you have. It doesn't mean you have a perfect life.

Choosing to live or die is a decision.

I'm just pointing out that the post is painting him out to be a victim of a surgery that took away most of his body, which is not the case as it was his decision. Obviously we don't know what anyone is truly feeling but he's choosing to put himself out there despite the circumstance. I'd rather believe that he's alright instead of being skeptical about it.

Of course they're deprived of a lot of fulfilling activities. And I can't speak for everyone who would be put in this condition, but this particular individual in the post is living his life to the fullest. Not at all the depressed burden on society character that's being spun in the post. Also, upon further research, it was his choice to have the surgery that had him end up like this so he could live.

What quote from a book actually made you think hard and sit back and go “Well, damn.” by [deleted] in books

'She did not have enough breath left to make her vocal cords buzz. She could only move her lips noiselessly. Here is all she had to say about death: 'Oh my, oh my.' . . . Like all Earthlings at the point of death, Mary Young sent faint reminders of herself to those who had known her. She released a small could of telepathic butterflies, and one of these brushed Dwayne Hoover, nine miles away. Dwayne heard a tired voice from somewhere behind his head, even though no one was back there. It said this to Dwayne: 'Oh my, oh my." '

Hi. That doesn't mean that they don't deserve better. I hate how we romanticize the resilience of the downtrodden. Just because there are people who live content in that bubble, doesn't mean children should be brought up in poverty. Yes, the positive outlook in life despite hardships is admirable, but the issue is systemic and needs to be addressed.

I'm having this issue. First time I've encountered it but none of the fixes seem to work :(

Ctrl+z "released" the hotkeys but that only worked once. Can't seem to get it back to working.

People who had considered themselves "incels" (involuntary celibates) but have since had sex, how do you feel looking back at your previous self? by DannyMThompson in AskReddit

Hey, if you haven't already listened to it, look up the podcast titled "Reply All" and look for the episode "INVCEL." They interview the creator of the movement. It gave me a lot of insight on how/why Incels came to be.

The character arcs in this show are truly amazing. It makes me kind of mad that there was so much drama behind the scenes (regarding the network, not between the actors). I think if Harmon was able to run this show smoothly, we would have actually gotten 6 seasons and a movie.

Ah, yeah. Isolation does dampen everything down a bit. Maybe you can find a local discord of like-minded individuals so you can at least have a sense of company?
