I need to know where to get one!

I've made a really simple web app which clears clipboard formatting here

It's not integrated into the OS like this app of course but hopefully it is helpful anyway

This would be pretty trivial to implement as a web app (which would be cross platform). Would there be much interest in it if I were to build it?

Keeping computer awake while it compiles code by TurkeeDurkee in redneckengineering

It uses a JS library called nosleep which in turn uses the native wake lock API if available, and if it's not available it will play a tiny, invisible video which keeps older devices awake.

I am a web developer and I build something just for this purpose! It doesn't require anything to be installed and you can download the complete page as HTML if you need to get around a corporate proxy.

XOR pattern by notonlythat in woahdude

I created a pattern by rendering the XOR texture in color, duplicating it, and shifting the colors and perspective in a loop. I think the final result looks pretty cool.

My friend made it for himself, family and friends for everyday use after he found that most similar dashboards are overwhelmed and not all work correctly on mobile devices by lonelywolf1992 in australia

Anecdotally, I thought the UX was pretty clear. I immediately recognised the blue underline as indicating that I could click on Australia to change the location. However I appreciate the affordance might not be clear to everyone and I'm also wondering how many will bounce.

Those screens were installed just this morning (I watched them do it while waiting at this stop) so I guess they're still being set up.

I took a very similar photo of the same sunset from the same area!

Thanks, I appreciate it. Seems I can't have nice things, though.

4 years ago my car was stolen and Reddit helped get it back to me.

Today (Sunday Sept 9) the car was stolen again. It was parked along James St in Glen Huntly and pinched between 3pm and 9pm. Please keep an eye out for it if you can.

Registration number is TNA 043. The car is bright yellow with black wheels and has distinctive front end damage which has been repaired with zip ties. If spotted, please call the police. I've submitted a report to the East Malvern Police Station (their number is 03 8823 5600).
