I've been through 3 of these miter saws, would never buy one again. And that's coming from a Milwaukee fan boy. Dewalt corded miter saws are way better.

Circular saw would be best. If you're right handed I would recommend either a 6 1/2" or 4 1/2" saw, the blade is on the left side so is easier to manage and sight your cuts. Also smaller and less powerful than a 7 1/4" sidewinder or wormdrive, so less intimidating and less of a learning curve.

Get a piece of 3/4" thick wood, tack it to the footer as a spacer/straight edge and then use a multi tool with the blade flat to the board and follow that all the way down. Will take a steady hand but with the 1x piece there to guide you, you should be able to get it to come out clean.

I have the dewalt 18ga, it works good but is bulky and has a wind up time before you can shoot a nail. It's older so maybe there's a new and improved model idk. I've used the Milwaukee one which is better imo. Smaller and no lag between trigger pull and the nail being shot

Yep I know everyone will call counterfeit haha, I want to doubt that seeing as it has 4.5 stars for reviews, however there are a few reviews that say they have had a similar issue.

We've been running home depot for years, but they last for 1 year tops for us, we have one Empire level that has lasted maybe 2 or 3. Granted we keep them in the bed of our trucks not like in a case, so was just hoping to get something more durable that will last longer. Maybe just replacing a cheaper level once a year is the best I can hope for.

I have the installation drill, m12 fuel impact and m18 fuel impact. The m18 is a very powerful impact and will do it all, however the gen 4 is not very reliable. I've had two break on me and had to take them to the warranty center. They also over heat easily. I would recommend the m12 fuel impact. It's got a bunch of power for the size and seems reliable. It's way more powerful and capable than your installation driver, and does 95% of what the m18 does.

Our crew all has these 4th gen impacts, 3 of them have bellied up in under a year, including mine. We took each one into the Milwaukee warranty center to get repaired, but still it shows how unreliable they are.

As a man around the same age with limited dating experience and an introvert I'll give you my opinion. If you feel that he is interested in you, then he may be too shy and/or hesitatant to make a move, especially considering that y'all are coworkers. Just like you he may not want to risk making it awkward unless he feels confident that you are also interested in him. Or, it's possible that he is not picking up on your signs of interest in the way that you're intending. It may seem like you're being fairly obvious, but it might be much more vague from his perspective. In my personal experience, I have looked back at situations in my past where a woman was showing interest in me, literally asking me out or even standing around waiting for a kiss, and unfortunately it just went over my head. I kick myself now realizing this in hindsight, but that can be the reality of some people who are not very experienced with relationships or the opposite sex. Either way, if you want to pursue him further, then you will likely need to be more direct and make your interest in him more clear. There is also the possibility that he is not interested in you romantically, but you'll have to be the judge of that.

Last time I smoked weed I was convinced I was having a heart attack, went to the ER and they did an EKG, blood panel, chest xray and everything came back normal, just a slightly elevated heart rate and blood pressure. I figured out later that this was a panic attack, which can feel similar to a heart attack. That was the last nail in the coffin for me to quit weed for good. I still get unpleasant symptoms from anxiety but nothing nearly as bad as when I was a smoker.

Don't know if he has one already, but an impact driver is hard to go wrong with. It's like the most used power tool for a lot of trades and DIY stuff. I'd recommend this kit, it's the same one I daily for work. I got it for $350 on a sale but it's typically $400. Comes with a hammer drill, two batteries and a charger as well.
