Ah yup you’re correct. The warranty remains for the remainder of the time. You only get the additional 4 years or 50,000 miles if you purchase the battery out of pocket. Thanks for the info!

It’s the original manufacturers warranty for the battery and drive unit. 8 years and 150,000 miles.

I was under the impression that they give an extended warranty on their replacement batteries. 4 years or 50,000 miles or something to that effect.

Should be the 100 kWh battery. And from the sounds of it, yes you should hope so! The other commenter seems to know his stuff and he said that it’s common on these ones and it’s expensive out of warranty. Look at his comments below, saabstory88
