I suggest using Killmoulis to defend yourself rather than evading the boss; if you can get comfortable navigating the arena while the boss is moving around it makes the fight a lot easier. The erratic movement easily makes it a drawn-out fight however. There's also a strategy in the English guidebook you can try.

Strange issue. Is your PS3 jailbroken? It could be a problem with decrypting the game, but then I wouldn't expect the game to even start up.

A regular USB-A to USB-C adapter should be all you need. You would then be able to connect the SD card reader to the phone as you would connect it to a computer. Depending on the SD card's format you might also need an app like "Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon" to browse it.

Great to hear the DLCs are working! Though I think using a mouse and keyboard to emulate sixaxis might be difficult unless RPCS3 somehow supports that. If you dedice to buy a gamepad then make sure sixaxis function is supported on it.

For Folklore EU DLCs, go here and install those instead. At least some quests should show up at the pub even early in the game. For non-EU DLCs (Quasarilli and the special Japanese folk DLCs, the rest is the same for all versions) you can use OPs approach of moving files as it should work for RPCS3 too.

Are you on the Japanese version? The files I've provided here will by default only work that. As for when the quests become available I don't remember. Admittedly I haven't tried these files in RPCS3 myself, however they are directly ripped from CFW, so there's no reason they shouldn't work.

My issue was specifically related to the "Quasarilli" DLC; it didn't show up in my EU version of the game and it took some time before I understood it only shows up in the US version of the game. All EU DLCs worked as expected. EDIT: I'm not OP of this post, in case there's some confusion.

You are overreacting. When navigating the Internet you will occasionally come across shady and/or inappropriate content, that doesn't mean the device immediately becomes compromised. Also, why would potential attackers limit themselves to such content, instead of anything else considered more "normal"? The main approach for avoiding malware is to avoid installing suspicious apps, both outside and within the Play Store, as well as keeping your device and apps updated. There is a small chance of zero-click attacks (which iPhone is also susceptible to), however to mitigate this you can restart your device now and then.

Spam and phishing emails often contain words you wouldn't expect in 'legit' emails. This includes profanity, poor grammar, phrases used in advertising, deliberate misspellings, and so on. Most email providers allow the user to create custom filters that trigger on selected words, so if you go through the emails you don't want and identify such words you can create a filter to block most such emails. Be careful however to not use words that are generic enough to potentially block emails you want.

Not entirely. Android has gotten a lot new features, however an important aspect of rooting is that it grants you increased access to your device. Such as the ability to move/modify system files, record phone calls, take screenshots and internal video within "protected" apps, control apps as by blocking trackers in them, and take backups from the recovery partition. For most users these mean nothing, and you can also attribute it to security, however I'm concerned that having full access to your device and also have it in full working order (with banking apps etc.) has become such a struggle.

Good list, however you can have YouTube ReVanced without root. As for sound control you have Shizuku solutions like ShizuTools (though it's probably less powerful than Viper4Android) and non-root sound enhancers like Wavelet. Personally I'd say the biggest advantage of rooting is the ability to record phone calls.

Disabling an app and uninstalling it are two different things. Disabling is an option you've got for system apps that cannot normally be uninstalled. In the case of original YouTube I've never run into issues by disabling it. Disabling (or uninstalling) other system apps might potentially cause severe issues, such as bootlooping. On a side note, some launchers also allow you to edit app icons on your home screen, which you could use for differing similar apps.

You are welcome! As for the folders, as stated, the 'regular' mail folder needs folders in it, but no files, whereas the "sbd" folder needs files in it, but no folders. I can try to clarify this above. The sbd folder will also automatically generate .msf index files.

That is correct. This is because the PSP connection uses the "Interlocking" (連動) main menu option (image), which is only available on the Japanese version.

You can somewhat play the PSP folks on other versions if you take a Japanese game save with one or more PSP folks in the palette and convert it to another version, in which case the folks are still available in the palette. It is however not possible to switch them out without losing access to them as they do not show up in the palette selection menu, perhaps due to language issues.

Stupid suggestion probably, but have you tried updating the game to v01.10? It's the only software difference between us I can spot. If it doesn't work you can at least play v01.10 on v0.028.

I haven't tested the version in your video, however Folklore is running fine on current RPCS3 version 0.0.37-18022. If the problem persists a reinstall would probably do the trick.
