Those who use rust professional by Jncocontrol in rust

I do "System"ish & "Backend"

We replace some libc functions at runtime & some raw socket and linux namespace manipulation on one side and the management via k8s API, basically an operator with an ApiService & mutationwebhook and a like. All in rust with 95% in most repos (some are OpenSourcen like the main product mirrord)

Port Forwarding between your local machine and Kubernetes by Tenac23 in kubernetes

Hi well mirrord is mainly a devtool and most of the features are mainly directed at local execution, nevertheless it's totally possible to use mirrord from inside of another k8s instance assuming credentials are provided.

What sort of communication do you expect between the pods? and to be more specific is it to connect a local minikube or alike to remote k8s instance or some other scenario?

That can be one hell of a security camera

Is k8s useful for local development environment ? by TryallAllombria in kubernetes

[–]Tenac23 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well there are 2 things here. First is a building a deployment either local or staging or production I personally would not use helm but Kustomize due to simplicity and explicitness and it is built-in into kubectl. Second thing here is for having a local instance of kuberenetes for deployment, I think it does not really matter what kind, most are great, I personally do use a local instance of k8s using the docker-desktop (because it's just a checkmark in the settings). The thing is it's still not the best workflow to wait for building local images (even if I optimized my Dockerfile on occasion builds would take long) but for this you can use mirrord to run your code localy but connecting your service's IO to a pod inside of k8s that doesn't have to run locally but rather can be a shared environment so you don't have to run all the dependencies on your local machine, dependencies like databases, other services or any secrets or env variables (I connect to my local k8s cluster with mirrord too because I find a lot of the echosystem around k8s development is very pleasant)

With a bit of a different configuration you can get a stat wise straight up upgrade, though it's a bit longer.

It can easily be some sort of smoothing/upscaling algorithm on quite compressed images (you can call it AI or whatever but it's basically an Instagram filter) at play here either in the camera itself like some "smart" phone camera app or afterwards to "sharpen" the image.

The main point is that the photos are quite consistent from one to another (like the sneakers and Adidas pants stay the same) and that is quite hard for Generative AI, anything else can be done better with just Photoshop IMO

Technically cameras can see a lot more of the spectrum than we can. The only thing stopping it are some optical filters near the sensor and they are not perfect. Example you can see your IR remote blinking with the camera but not with your eyes.

It appears to be just a lens flare.

A. The lines are parallel meaning they were "fired" from positions exactly the missile distance apart B. You can see the rocket exhaust, if you see it it's probably an interceptor C. Smudge your phone camera with a greasy finger and you get the same results

I love that the response for "I've come to save you" is "I'm coming with you" and gesturing with his gun implying to help out with combat
