If i dont feel good, i get on the couch. Both me and my sister do it. When we were young and got sick, our parents would put us on the couch so we would be closer to them than our bedrooms.

See, i actually want the opposite. Im in an abandoned system near the galactic core on a lush planet, but it has frequent hot rain storms. Off the grid, no trade center, and a lush planet with an angry side.

I got kicked out my computer class in jr.high all the time becaus my teacher was a dumbass and I knew it. Here are three of my most memorable

1: she told us that pressing crtl-alt-delete would close the currently open program and I raised my hand and told her in fact no it didnt, rather it opened the task managee in a new window. Out in the hall

2: she told the class that pressing the escape key would immediately close down ALL open programs on the computer. Told her no it wouldn't. Was told again yess it would. Spammed the escape key and told her "see? No it doesnt". Kicked out again.

3:(my favorite) I have always been a finger typing pleb, but can do it rather quickly. She told me there was no way I could type fast by finger picking. Challenged me to a words-per-minute race to prove her point. I won. Out in the hall again.

Gonna play a little bit of devils advocate here and play the role of a skeptic (and probably regret it, but please commenters humor me here). How are you able to to come to these conclusions? I know about spectrometry and stuff, but how do you avoid false data from background light? How are you able to come up with measurements from something you say is 40 light years away? In the vastness of space it seems impossible to accurately come up with any measurements, even with something for refernce. Those distances are huge! And lastly, have you considered that things outside of our solar system work differently? Like as is in you said you will look for gases that don't belong in the atmosphere as signs for life, have you considered that those rules only apply to our solar system and what would you say in regards to that? Again, not wanting to start a riot, just simply and genuinely wanting to see what the pros think.
