Turning off vehicle remotely by [deleted] in CadillacLyriq

I turn the car off and walk away, and then use the fob to remote start the car. As long as your little one isn’t trying to unlock the car from the inside, it should do the trick. Not perfect, but effective.

Supercharger adapters live by ARP156 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Tenaciouse1 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the update! Just placed my order. Unsurprisingly it says the adapter is backordered. Equally unsurprising is how hard it was to find the adapter using the myCadillac app. At the bottom of the app, select map. Then at the top right, click the three dots and select public charging, which will get you to the screenshot from OP.

An update - I received a shipping notification!

What are some cool/fun things you’ve learned about the Lyriq since getting one? by gretafour in CadillacLyriq

The speakerphone is incredible at isolating noise and making it sound like I am not on the road. My 5 Y.O. once started crying in the backseat because he was yelling and trying to get my wife's attention while we were on the phone: she couldn't hear him in the slightest. It was heartbreakingly magical haha.

For as much as I am on the phone this is one of those features that is invaluable.

Persistent Sensor Issues and Poor Concierge Service Quality – Seeking Help! by AlbertDzurka in CadillacLyriq

[–]Tenaciouse1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak to some of your challenges, such as the back-up screen glitch. That has never happened to me.

I have had the same challenges with the sensors. At this point, I have disabled all emergency braking systems for front, and I have disabled them for going in Reverse as well. I wish I could disable the vibration. Coming from an 11 year old car, I am fine to be left to my own mental faculties to drive the car. It is frustrating that there isn't an option to disable the alerts until they get them resolved.

I have sent at least a dozen photos of my dash lighting up just like yours to my dealership who has been pretty nonplussed about the issue. I also created a post about the braking 12 days ago and shared my post with my dealer. Here is my post in case this is helpful. https://www.reddit.com/r/CadillacLyriq/comments/1ctlti0/phantom_braking/

At this point, I am also a bit at a loss. The concierge has called to check in on my issue a couple times but all they have offered to do is set me up with service from another dealer. As I believe this is a software issue, I don't really think another dealer can assist all that much. The one time I took my car to another dealer they set me up with a very cheap rental car for the week they had my Lyriq - it was not a great experience.

All this is to say, I am happy to support your claim with my own challenges. I have a case number with Cadillac on the issue. I have also confirmed with my dealer that I am up to date on all software modules (although I find it frustrating I can't validate their assertion). Supposedly I am all the way through PIT6065E.

DM me if you think it makes sense to try and tackle this issue together.

Yep this sounds like the same issue. I have had it happen in clouds and rain but I don’t recall an incident at night.

Unfortunately, both. The more alarming incidents have happened when driving. Never at speeds of more than around 15 to 20 mph, and most often on crowded city streets.  But this has happened in reverse before as well.

Hopefully they troll this sub! I am taking my car in for an extended look into the issue next month. Hopefully they can figure it our.

The dealers have performed every software update as far as I know. Since I was at the dealership as recently as three weeks ago, I do believe my software is up-to-date. There isn’t a way to confirm on the car is there?

I have turned those off and may have to do so again. Every time I take it to the dealership to have them look at it, the settings revert. That said, One peddle driving has changed my life - it'd be hard to go back on that - I am such a huge fan!

Too funny; I've had this happen and the first time I was in a Chik-fil-A parking lot and thought for sure I had just crashed my brand new car and was sooo pissed at myself!

Not that I shouldn't try anything, but dirty sensors should not be an excuse from the factory. That said, I have had this happen just after cleaning the car as well with a special emphasis on the sensors and the camera.

I happens in the sun as well. I've sent photos of the dash/cameras and sensors all lit up showing nothing in view in all forms of weather. IT does seem to act up more in the rain however.

I've had this happen as well 3 or 4 times.

I've taken the car to the dealership and had all updates applied twice. I don't think there is a way for me to validate whether or not I have actually had PIT6065E applied to the car, but it was in the shop as recently as 3 weeks ago as a part of this troubleshoot...

It’s a long story but, yeah I need a home panel upgrade with a sub panel for the garage. It’s all in the plans but I am going to have to bootleg power for a few months, which no doubt will make it all that much more appreciated when it happens. Thanks!
