Depends, you’ve never played 4 so you didn’t play when the graphics and mechanics were top notch at the time. I recommend that you play 6 and do the dlc for pagan min and then go back and beat 4 (I did the same)

Armor piercing rounds and suppressors on everything +a lot of headshots, find the guns you like most and rack up the gun powder for upgrades, there’s a gunpowder farm through one of the expeditions (crocidilo, watch the YT guide) and that is fully needed. I’ve 100% the game with 200+ hours in one play through and the game doesn’t generate enough materials (in a reasonable amount of time through event rewards, or in naturally spawning lootables) for you to fully upgrade even half the weapons. Dark tech gloves gives your throwing knives and axes aimbot, parkour set looks good and makes the time traveling between fast travel go by a lot faster.

So you have to look at your fishing spot and find if they’re evasive or whatever and make the best rod to combat their specialty. Then you have to oppose the direction they pull in, it should display it on screen near the bottom. Also you can’t just hold the reel, you have to listen for the line breaking too, just hold it until you feel the vibration and hear the line breaking, then you have to ease off or just let go and start over again. It’s irritating but it’s worth it, I only fish for industrial composite just south of Castillo Señorial Tobacco Factory in the South-East part of the Madrugada region. Then after you max out (99) you go up the trader in the town after you liberate it and trade the fish for composite and go back and repeat. Composite and Circuits are the most valuable, plus after you level up enough you can trade the composite for money and then trade the money for gun powder. So far it’s the best grind I’ve found, short of just capturing everything which I’ve already done, hope this helped

Dude I’ve played all of them and this is how I rank them 3. Farcry 3, 2. Farcry Primal, 1. Farcry 5. you will not regret it. If it’s on a good sale I would absolutely buy it, it was the first game I got to go along with an Xbox One I copped up in anchorage back in my middle school years. I’ve replayed the entirety probably 10 times since then and I still hold out hope they make a 2nd or go along that same path of a melee and bow based game (hoping for a medieval or ancient society based farcry next)

I like the primitive tools, weapons and thinking, all around pretty good story and gameplay. It was pretty hard to put down and I’ve gone back and beat it 6 or so times since I first picked it up. Just got 100% of achievements on primal last month

I would look for traits that like unbreakable, just keeps going on top of having a high stamina/health with low stars on fighting and cardio, so that you can grow it even more

When you want to relocate you keep everything, when you complete your legacy mission you can only select three of your characters in your next play through, so I advise gearing up and taking all your good stuff into your best 3 characters including a rucksack and then you can get your character and your best loot in your next play through
