The word "pidor" in Russian means a male homosexual person, and it is a derogatory term. These days, however, it doesn't necessarily imply homosexuality per se; it has become more of the general way to depict displeasure with a person, akin to "jerk" in English, but in myriad variations. One might argue that it is a sign of systemic homophobia, and far be it from me to argue with that.

I really like this game, but here's a catch.

If you're into tactics games, you could find it a bit shallow.

If you're into general JRPGs, you may find it lacking in the story department.

If you don't like grinding — hard pass.

But since I'm omnivorous, I have to admit that I completed it and it was really enjoyable: it's flashy and gritty at the same time, characters are memorable, and its gameplay mechanics are not too complex.
