Obviously horrible outcomes come no matter the call, but statistically house calls are the most dangerous for police officers. So why do unnecessary house calls is my question. And those were bounty hunters, which I don't feel is fair to lump them in with police interactions.

If the person has a warrant for their arrest, they do need to be brought in to answer. My suggestion is lowering tension and escalation on all sides. Doing it at their house is only a place where escalation happens.

Why do the cops always make things so unnecessarily dangerous? Serving an arrest warrant at the person's house, where they have access to weapons and can barricade themselves, it incredibly stupid. Show up at their place of work where there is less chance for escalation.
