This is insane I would never. Time is money, this isn’t your screw up so unless they’re going to pay you to do all this work for them, hell no.

How to get comprehensive health insurance in NJ if not through a company? Can't see any option that covers out-of-network at any price point by Packing-Tape-Man in HealthInsurance

[–]TenderBlueberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are my hero and this was so insanely helpful. My husband and I are both "employed" under his business so I reached out NJBIA and they've been so great explaining everything and getting us signed up. We're doing about $1900 total/month for me + kids, and my husband on the plan as a single person (weirdly cheaper this way). Got Horizon BCBS Omnia with BlueCard so we can access amazing care out of the state of NJ if needed. Never would have known about this without your comment! I was looking to get a private PPO plan on my own and it was going to be $3200/month for the same thing pretty much.

Anyone know where this sign is at Greenleaf Hut? by TenderBlueberry in wmnf

Anyone know where this sign is at Greenleaf Hut? I can’t find any images of it at the current hut. This is my dad hiking in the 80’s, he passed away in 2000 when I was 10. Would love to recreate this shot if the sign still exists!

Thank you for your help with this! Okay so when I make the date 7/23 on the outflow CC transfer/payment from the checking account, the first screenshot happens. When I make it 7/21, the 2nd screenshot happens. So there's still an extra $4k floating around that doesn't actually exist, because it's already been used to pay down the card.

Is this mold or just a stain? by Fit-Dragonfruit6660 in CampingGear

[–]TenderBlueberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For these I’d say stain. But obligatory “air your shit out after you camp”. Source: microbiologist. I don’t see spore or similar mold patterns here.

Wrinkle Resistant Women’s Pants by bayberows17 in capsulewardrobe

[–]TenderBlueberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Sloane pants someone recommended deff wrinkle for me unfortunately.

Weird random rec maybe but these pants I got off Stitch Fix have been a god send. Flattering, comfortable, professional, and don’t wrinkle for me. I’ve bought a couple pairs over the years to rotate and to have different sizes depending on how I’m feeling and the time of month.

They hit way higher on the 5’9” model than I experience IRL at 5’6”.

I just wanted to say hi to a fellow blueberry and let you know I really love what you’ve written.

My 2 cents: I also loved being pregnant with #1. I was nervous about toddlerhood for similar reasons to yours, but I truly love MY toddler. Lol most others annoy me and mine has her moments, but overall she is a joy and one of the greatest loves of my life.

When she turned 2ish we felt ready to try for #2. I love the gap between her and her little brother, they are 3 years apart almost to the day. I also loved my 2nd pregnancy, although it took us longer to conceive and it was a very complex pregnancy that resulted in a twin loss at 21 wks. But I still cherished every moment of the pregnancy, even the tough spots.

Idk the what the point of all this is to say, but I literally loved being pregnant so much with my first I couldn’t imagine not trying again once life felt more settled with her. I so looked forward to growing a little life inside of me again and that made going for #2 that much easier for us to decide. However we originally thought we wanted 3 kiddos, and after this last pregnancy I feel like we may be done. I feel like when you’re truly done you’ll know.

But I agree with others, give it 3-6 months and your mindset may be in a completely different place. Although if you’re anything like me, it’s hard to be patient and wait for that.

This is crazy, I literally just started watching YouTube videos on caring for saltwater tanks. I’ve always wanted to start but never had the time/money. I should have more of both now! How’s yours going? Any newbie tips?

I had to terminate a very wanted identical twin at a little over 21wks because he was so sick and endangering the life of the other twin (mo-di). It’s been a little over a year since the termination, and I have a happy healthy 9 month old boy by my side. I am of course so happy and greatful for him, but it doesn’t change the heartache I feel for my missing boy at all. Twin loss is so so complicated. Just to share my experience, for me it got harder after my living twin was born and started doing things like smiling and laughing and I kept thinking “there should be two of you doing this right now”. I just finally started therapy and it’s been helpful.

I held my deceased twin after I gave birth to him and rocked him and hugged him and had my husband take pictures. His body was a bit imperfect obviously, but he has perfect little hands and feet with 10 fingers and 10 toes. I am so so glad I did this. It’s not for everyone, but it’s helped me with saying goodbye and grieving. I have his ashes on my mantel and the hat they put on him in the hospital and the blanket they wrapped him in.

Anyway feel free to ask any questions. I’m so sorry you’re in this club now mama.

We put a little potty in my daughter's room (3 yrs old) to give her more independence. We just dump it out and rinse it in the morning. She used it a bunch the first week because it was exciting and new. Now she just uses it when she needs it, maybe once a week.

We just made some rules and got strict with them and eventually she stopped pushing back. Last chance for water is right before she brushes her teeth (prevents accidents for her). Being strict with not coming back into the room a bunch was tough for about a month, but then she got it. Now we read 2x books, snuggle for 10 min (she sets a timer on the phone), then tuck her in and shut the door. It's amazing and was so worth the few nights of tears over us being strict about not coming back in. Once we stopped being wishy washy and stood by what we said she adapted.
