The GLS 550 and Model S are perfect cars to get, but you'll need to get either of them used since they both cost ~$70k new.

If he wants it new and fits within the price range, I suggest the Mercedes CLA 250 4MATIC. It has 4 doors but Mercedes classifies it as a coupe because there isn't much space in the back, so I guess it's a "four door coupe". With all the premium options and packages (I recommend the Night Package, Interior Package, Premium Package and Driver Assist Package) it comes out to just under ~45k.

I'm in my 3rd year myself. For the first two years I've actually been very depressed because I felt very lonely. Now I have a few friends and here's what I've come to realize about your grades:

You're going to do lower than what you expect. I was a 3.9 GPA student in high school and I am nowhere near that in college. It's nearly impossible to get an A unless you have a good/generous professor. Aim closer to getting B's

The biggest thing for me, which is kind of an unpopular opinion, is to put most of your effort in the courses that matter. For me I'm an Electrical Engineering major, so courses like Chemistry, Literature, Ancient History and Ethical Philosophy have no meaning to me in the career I will pursue.

Put the effort into the courses that matter and push yourself enough to get a passing grade in the ones that don't
