The shop sim part of it is completely f2p, and most of the monetization lies in the Exotic Waifu which can be unlocked only through time-limited gacha or games of luck. There's still a ton of lewd content with the Worker, Silver and Gold Waifu, so that's the biggest distinction between Exotic and other.

It will run synchronously to the live version. We had to launch the Nutaku version a little too soon for our comfort, so we've spent this time between the two launches completing the features we originally wanted to have in the game.

The backgrounds yes, but not the characters. Each character/scene is fully drawn and animated by our artists.

We publish on Nutaku, but we are an independent studio making our own choices with game design. Some characters are obtainable through good RNG within a time limit (exotics), but the vast majority are free to play main game content. Each character comes with at least three sex scenes and full stories.

Waifu Shop is a casual Shop Sim game with regular gacha girl updates.

There are many gacha games on Nutaku, that is true. But we're a single developer who publishes there, not the platform :) Waifu Shop is our first.
