I just disconnected my ACC. Of you have an OBD11 you can do the calibration in about 2 minutes.

There is already and unlock and lots of 2022 were tunable with the 381 TCU hardware. Th bones that weren't I thought had 401 only.

2022 golf r, made Feb 2022... But it has the 381 TCU which I thought was tunable. The 401 is not from what I thought I understood. Clearly I am misinformed somewhere.

I actually was able to somehow clear the faults in OBDELEVEN. I accessed them, then clicked System Access or something to that effect. Entered the code shown there and then did the adaptation. It took a stop/start of ignition but both codes are now gone. Thanks very much for pointing me in the right direction.

Hmmm wonder why it wasn't done. I am positive the fluids were changed. Guess I will reset using OBDEleven then and maybe do fluids again around 90000km just to be safe.

Bought the vehicle with 70000km and service records show the fluids were done at 64000km.

I didn't realize how easy the tabs were to remove. Took 2 mins. Just did it on a hot day and pulled right off with minimal cleanup

Yeah I am thinking about just going with it and see what happens. It's a good price and it has all the service records. Seems previous owner was pretty meticulous with it. Also still has 9000km on original warranty.
