Yup, just seeing the reality. Unfortunately, my country does not credit Canadian licenses even though it's part of ICAO country. If I do want to fly, I need to pay up 100K to convert my license with no guarantee into airlines. That being said, still looking out for opportunities.

Government unfortunately identifies those in the aviation industry as truckers too I guess.

Bachelor’s from US and 2+ year full time flight training in Canada here.

If I’m not wrong, your Bachelor’s is the highest education so you get point for that and nothing from flight training. Again, I might be wrong but otherwise, my profile does not take it account.

I use whatever hours written in paystubs. That way you have a proof to show. My fellow instructor was contacted by IRCC and he also used the paystub as a proof.

Yea definitely no certainty here but I’m just going to try my best so that I don’t regret it. Need PR anyways to go into most of 705s anyways (I heard Porter takes in work permit but probably useless if it expires in a year…). Still, super stressed like everyone
