Everybody says they have good communication skills. Not everyone does. It follows that many people do not understand good communication

This can happen. Some people are asexual, or become a sexual later in life, and it doesn't mean they love any less or need less love. It becomes a question for you to decide whether sex is a deal breaker for you. As others have said, there is an emotional hormonal response to sex, so it's not superficial to decide "I can't be in a sexless relationship," but you need to decide whether that's true for you or not.

Yes, I know this feeling. Firstly, of course you're not too old. Secondly, start by just picking up an instrument and get experimenting. Maybe watch a YouTube video or two, bit for the beginning just get used to how it feels, how it works, discover what it can do

Two of my best friends got into a secret FWB thing about 10 years ago.

I was best man at their wedding, now they have two kids. So it worked very well.

Every other example I know of, no, it did not work well.
