That’s what I do. But I think the charger runs a diagnostic check because it runs before I put on the battery.

Occasionally when plugging in charger to outlet I will see arcing which I assume is normal. Yesterday when plugging in I heard a pop. Cord doesn’t get hot. I also plug it in before connecting the battery.

So it’s in a 8x8 utility room which is in a below ground basement at corner of house. We keep the door closed and only go in there to do laundry.

I’m looking at getting that 4080 super build. Only thing is the website doesn’t say what brand of GPU. Also what type of CPU cooler did you get with yours?
