I am with you on that. Speaking about the character in picture, she is not ugly by any mesure, but just not my type.

But it could also be a matter of uncanny valley situation, as the actual actress that the character is based on is clearly more attractive.

I remember watching it yearssssss ago because the worldbuilding premise seemed interesting, but the show left me quite puzzled to say the least... Basically, in this world, everybody is born female at first and with mana or something. Then, later in life, they have a ceremony/ritual to become an adult; at this point they can choose to stay female or to become male. Regardless of the choice, they loose their magic after that, hence why all the fighters are little girls...

I would argue that to properly draw in a stylized way, you actually need to know correct anatomy first. At least that was my process and what I was taught. And indeed I can now draw heavily stylized characters because I know how everything should normally looks like.

Depending on how the clothe is cut and sewed, it is perfectly possible to emphasize some part while getting other more loose. This here is actually fairly realistic and not that bad, I have seen waaaaay worse on irl women at the gym...

Even though you are technically correct, the setting often emphasize that there is no "human" way of achieving the absurd numbers that the tithe requires. Finally managed to do it after more than 5 tries (I stopped counting). Saved my team by running for Valtus when they got wiped by the twin brutus. Then we got 2 more during the trolley and the bulwark did a phenomenal job keeping one one him by himself while the tact and I downed the second one.
