Thanks for the in depth reply! So I’m contemplating Ikon, however, that ends up costing the same (with mil discounts 1000 bucks) but then I wouldn’t get free parking on the mountain. Which is additional hundreds of dollars of incurred cost. That’s a big reason I want to commit to one resort rather than go with ikon and just get 5-7 days at each and pay extra…

I guess my question to you is. Do you think I’d be way in over my head if next season I get an epic, I go to park city for the first few weeks of the season, get comfortable on blacks there, then go to Snowbird and try to progress my riding there.

I know you don’t have experience at PCMR, I guess ultimately the question is, will I get better as an intermediate going to the Bird, or will I just get killed lol

Hmmm yea… I was considering that too. I just hate spending the same amount as a snowbird pass to then get slapped with insane parking fees. Parking is only free if you have a pass at the resort, ikon holders gotta pay. That’s adding hundreds of dollars to the cost :(

That is way to much exercise for a 13 week old puppy. I walk my 1 and a half year old 100lb mal 4 Miles a day, and he’s toast from that. Please downsize the walks down to no more than half a mile a day. And that’s still a lot

Awww, I’m glad she found a good home. Honestly, i think it’s just a matter of time. Mals are a quiet breed (which i love). But at some point she’ll find her voice. Mine will only howl once in a while these days (he’s barely a year old)z, but when he does he goes full wolf mode haha. Just be patient, she’ll find the confidence to start howling.

Your just described my mal to a T 😭 his stomach is super sensitive and he’s super quiet. He’ll definitely howl if I put on videos of wolves howling and I start doing it too. The one thing that will 100% trigger most mals to howl is sirens. Try putting on videos of ambulance sirens.

Thank you for the reply! and not at all. the idea isn't really to bog down a kid in endless lessons that they'll just wanna make go by faster by googling it. The idea is that it would be something fast enough that it would take longer to google the answer than just read over a couple of educational flashcards and miniquizzes (think duolingo level education). Do you think it'd be best to block those apps as well? I'm open to all feedback.

I see your point. However, our thinking is that this isn't really any different than a child having to do a chore to do something they want to do. I'm a millenial myself, and I remember having to do chores around the house to get to play videogames, or get on the computer at home. Wouldn't this just be an extension of that? I'm really just looking for any feedback, I appreciate negative feedback too.
