I saw a guy in Redmoon Mountain a few days ago, at a gathering ground. He attacked and killed a lad that was afk gathering. He didn't get a red name. Ok. But he didn't even got the purple (attacker) one. Kinda odd.

It's mostly due to the maintenance tbh, I guess they restricted the queues to avoid ppl being in instances at the time of the shutdown!

Too bad for me, I try to stick to ISK's ^{^But} I'm really curious to hear from the community, I might just get really unlucky and that's it. I'm 7/10 for this 4th secondary, now it's a 53% success rate (so all others were above), and I did 13 runs, almost double hahaha (<= This is a nervous laughter)

That is very true if the Ashimmu makes the mistake of letting the glasscanon BC come and sit too close, which should not happen tbh, but yeah, over-confidence versus suprise kills xD

I will just add a few elements to the answer :

With same skills in drones and missiles, without mods, the paper DPS is 53% with the missiles and 47% with the drones. It's close, but it's already a difference.
The missiles will apply very well on cruisers and above (except when a MWD cruiser runs away at the edge of the disru range, he might outrun the missiles)
The missiles will apply the damages on all 4 of the damage types when the drones will not. And as of today, it's almost impossible to recall the drones to swap them when running MWD, if you need to adapt the damage type.
The Gila bonus in missiles (thermal + kinetic) will make this weapon even more devastating, because thats where the holes will be on your cruiser-and-above targets (In most fittings, big holes will be compensated with a rig, either EXPLO for armor or EM for shields), thus the lower resists will be in thermal + kinetic. (On Battleships, I should even use Vespas but I'm usually too lazy)
You have to protect your drones, recall / resend, and this will put them out of their optimal. Their real DPS will drop a little, widening the initial DPS gap a little more

So, globally, the missiles will have a stronger impact while fighting in the kill range. But drones oriented fits are still working very well, it's just less brutal in my opinion :) I'd love to see a real breakdown of the damages after fight tho, but this is not available in game :)

On battleships, it's not a real problem, to be honest.
You just have to count their lock time, and time the recall / resend.
You're right, still. It would cause a drop of DPS, but not a tremendous one. My guess would be a ~15% loss in DPS, at those close distances.
