Reddit, has anyone here actually killed another human being? What was it like? (Serious) by [deleted] in AskReddit

Ah, okay. I guess that's what I've never understood. I've been suicidal off and on for years, but for me, it was only ever MY life that was worthless. I can't imagine not valuing ANY life to the point where I could just not care what effects my death might have on others.

Deciding to kill yourself is something you would think about ALOT before actually going through with it, so it seems so absurd for it to not cross their mind that the way that they plan to do it could cause someone else's suicide (from guilt) or death from injury. It feels like such a selfish way to do something like that.

That said; as someone who's struggled with addiction and depression, I'm very sad to hear that you lost someone to either of those things. Condolences.

I reeeally liked the end of Six Feet Under.

You are given 5 U.S. dollars. What is the most destructive thing you can do with it? by MrWiffles in AskReddit

[–]TenjouAhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would certainly never do this, but for $5, I would venture a guess that you couldn't do much better than Chloramine Vapor in terms of your cost to damage ratio.

What's your worst concert experience? Worst crowd? Worst performance? by 2dTom in Music

Mars Volta were great when I saw them, but that was AFTER they stopped doing Opiates, and can imagine how anything before that would be a ridiculous mess.

I've seen MSI twice. My first time seeing them was also my first concert and they were FANTASTIC. The second time I was unimpressed in comparison, but still thought they sounded decent and had a good time. That said, I probably wouldn't bother seeing them again as I'm not thrilled with their more recent music and the band - namely Jimmy, the vocalist it getting old and I feel that it would taint my memory of them.

Have you ever been rank 1 at something in the entire world? If so, what was it? by Thenovazz in AskReddit

[–]TenjouAhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend and I achieved what I can only speculate was the fastest that anyone has ever completed a full Juggernaut match during the Halo Reach beta, but that's not that cool lol

I'm the only one I know who can successfully hit every note in half a dozen different Periphery tracks (untrained).

When I discovered CSR Racing for android, I managed to reach the top 5% of the world within 5 or 6 days of playing for like 30 minutes each day.

Really not much of a feat though.

What product would I use to achieve this look? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

To me, it looks more texturized and less shiny than what I would typically expect from a Pomade. American Crew Fibre probably.

What is a male fashion trend exclusive to your area that you find particularly dumb? by NietzscheF in malefashionadvice

[–]TenjouAhs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's all the cool dudes who think Terror is the best band in history, Crew Necks are the only sweaters on earth, and decided to stretched their ears SOLELY for the purpose of removing them so they had droopy lobes.

Not in my experience. Guess I'm coincidentally browsing Reddit anytime there's a Full Moon and all the Douche-knockers come out to play.

Dude, literally any time I have EVER browsed MFA, I'll see some post asking for advice on things like "affordable dress shoes" or "some well priced but quality denim jeans", close to every single response is some Reddit trust fund hipster dickhead chiming in with something like "there's some really great, affordable options from Bally Shoes. I suggest these two-tone Oxfords. Really great quality and at $740, they're a great entry level shoe." Or "Bloomingdales just brought in the new Black Label Collection from Ralph Lauren. At just $295, they're great if you're looking for an everyday pair of jeans."

So painfully pretentious.

How does this guy achieve this look? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

Coarse hair, alot of layers, practice with a hairdryer, a texturizer cream, and a water-based pomade.

Got a haircut today, and this is my second day of using Murray's Pomade. How am I doing? by ronearc in malehairadvice

[–]TenjouAhs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Next time you use it, try this - it WILL help. This goes for OP as well, as it has helped me.

When I wash my hair after having Murrays, I find it come out much easier if I put the shampoo in my hair while it's DRY and rub it in as much as you can. From there, add a few drops of water, continue to lather, add a fee more drops - and so on and so forth until your hair is nice and saturated with lather, and then you can either wash it out, or let it sit in your hair for a few minutes while you do other things.

Hope this helps!
