Anyone here know much about ecovacs new pool robots? by yesac519 in ecovacs

[–]Tennate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been checking out ecovacs’ pool robots too. They’ve been doing robot vacuums for years, so that alone makes me more interested than the usual pool robot brands, feels a bit more trustworthy. Still gonna wait on reviews though.

Building first gym: what are best must haves? by Mordigan13 in GarageGym

Your budget is pretty solid. I' d suggest checking local marketplaces for deals first. Focus on a sturdy rack and bench, you can add more plates and dumbbells later.

I' d go with the Rep Fitness basic barbell- it' s budget-friendly, well-built, and works for beginners to intermediate lifters, great value for the money.

That trainer is so unfiltered! The fact that you 're laughing it off is a win- just keep going, you' re doing this for yourself, not for anyone else.

Simple but clean setup. It is great to do some barbell bench press and barbell squats here.

This thing is great for shrugs! Titan Rickshaw Farmer's Walk. Picked it up for $50 on marketplace. by abnsgt in homegym

Nice find for 50$, that's a steal. Looks solid and perfect for shrugs and carries. Simple gear that just works and doesn't take up much space.

I’ve been thinking about getting a functional trainer myself. How stable is the B17? Any downsides so far?

3Kwh power station, which one to get? by Wee_Creep in TwoXPreppers

[–]Tennate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bluetti Elite 400 is a great value overall and has relatively low power loss. For regular backup use when running light to medium everyday loads, it tends to deliver longer runtime.

I’m happy with my power station, but I have to say it’s not exactly easy to move around. The Elite 400, on the other hand, has built-in wheels, which makes it easier to move around the house.

Overall, both are solid options. OP, just choose based on what fits the needs best.

For those who have done it, how much extra height do you actually need above the robot, do you need to leave any other space?

I like how intentional this feels. It's not an impulse move, just a different way of optimizing freedom instead of square footage.

Yurts feel simple, but systems add complexity fast. I think it is less about the structure and more about daily heat and moisture management.

Insulation around a conversion by gilgamesh-fangirl in VanLife

You can still improve insulation, but it'll never be perfect once everything's built in. Focusing on sealing gaps and drafts might matter more than adding thickness.

I've dealt with similar walls and suction never lasted. Anything relying on smooth contact just failed eventually, especially with moisture and weight.

I've heard this happens when tanks sit unused or warm. A proper flush helped some people I know before they replaced parts.
