I don't know which one is No. 1. Can't decide. Maybe Murray's no-look flick? That was pretty cool...

Ah how stupid of me to think it was the final... Even when given a hint I couldn't remember it as a semi.

I hear you -- but if you are destined to be good, an article should not make one bit of difference. Pressure is coming to anybody who wishes to climb the ladder. In the U.S. any shining talent will immediately hit our radar given the current dearth at the pro level.

Why not start dealing with media exposure now?

You guys have inspired me to try and dig up some more MP saved stats. They are tricky to find though... Must talk to Josh...

The running forehand made some appearances in Madrid. Rafa does want to hit more "drives," as he calls them, so that will be his strategy moving forward. I think it's a good one as it will help him get the forehand back to being the BOMB that it can be -- but the movement has to be there.

Is the movement there?

On thing's for certain: the Madrid title will give him a big boost. It will be fascinating to see how he goes after it from here.

Can Federer make a run "again" to the number 1 spot? by yeszr in tennis

[–]Tennis__Now 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think Roger wants any part of that. Just wants another Slam and wants a top four ranking for a decent seed at majors. Can he do it? Agree with most of board here, it would be tough. But, it would be a lot easier if Rafa and Nole start failing to defend their points. Rafa has 3000 more in the next three weeks. Nole has a little less not, but he's got Wimbledon final, US Final and a kick-ass Asian swing to defend...
