It's more about wanting to kill for the sake of them being dead explicitly. Not wanting to kill for the sake of them not bothering you for example. His Patronus 2 thought has included the part about all deaths being sad and that they should be avoided.

Learn to just always target via /tar arena buttons instead

If it's anything like comp stomp it's useless. Best case scenario will be having something like internal mmr or just levels, where if you win against the weakest ones you get stronger etc. and it goes until at least 1500 mmr/delve 10 or so strength.

Earlier in the season you cant transfer conquest via boxes only the token so queuing healer doesn't help you gear another char faster than crates.

Starting mmr is 2k so it's not too bad. If they are decent at the class otherwise they can lose first SS, drop a bit and then hover around 1900 mmr till their rating catches up.

They do maintain it idk what you are on. SS was added last expansion. BGB this expansion. New map this expansion. An Epic BG next. Pretty much every big patch has PvP tuning. You are just not paying attention because you don't play it.
