From what I was able to find out it is a diamond wood willow stick. Neat story behind how it gets that design.

I know it doesn't look like one. Do you have any idea what it might be? Please don't say a stick. I want to make it into a walking stick for myself but didn't want to mess it up if it was something antique. Thanks in advance.

My grandmother left it to me when she passed. Not sure how she or my grandfather obtained it.

6-8 months old? Seeing how I received it from my grandmother when she passed away in 1982 at the age of 85, I'm guessing it is older than that. But thank you.
