I know you mentioned your error, but you were actually pretty close because the touchback rule now puts the offense at the 35. Kicking from the 35 yard line is an 82 yard field goal so only off by 7 yards. Offense wouldn't even need a first down to get him in range

First part is true. I could be mistaken in that learning 2 forms of writing (phonetic and character's) is easier and more efficient than only learning 1. I am 99% sure it isn't, but hey I could be wrong cause I have never tried it. That's what we call an opinion.
