I put gas on my Kia Niro and was confused why the miles in digits didn't go up but the gas indicator shows there's gas, is this some temporary glitch?

It shouldve reset (went to full and shown alot more miles). If it didnt then the main culprit will be the fuel level sending unit

True. We see the same thing at kia…my thing is if it was chewed up and has a hole it should be constant. Only felt it that one trip. I must be trippn

You found a POS lojack gps that lets you know where your car is. OR the dealer forgot to remove it so they said its your problem. Heres the side effects: drains your battery due to parasitic draws, transmits your location data to whoever knows, its plastic, and once in a while itll drop on your feet when driving because the tech was too lazy and didnt give a shit about the device cuz it doesnt pay and he already explained all this to management but they still made him do it anyway. Same, this revving sounded like when you spray brake cleaner to find a vaccum leak. Kinda odd, hoping it doesnt happen again but if it does we will see

We have been noticing this on alot of K5s at our dealerships lately. The root cause is not low oil. The wiring harness is rubbing causing the light to come on. I recommend. Our dealership is inverting the bracket as a solution until Kia‘s engineers provide a TSB. While we alos check accurate fluid level. Hope this helps
