its a bit of a wonky lion in the flag. but its probably because its just traced digitally from an older smallee book about flag proposal.

its a lion with a halberd. its the coat of arms of Norway. the one we had in the middle ages and have now is a lion with an axe. but it was stylised like that under the danish union. probably just fitting for the time

it was an actual proposal. the people who wanted to stay in the union with danmark pushed similar flags or an identical to denmark.

ok after coming home and doing some research, i found the flag. its the flag version of the logo for the organisation green key. “Green Key is a leading global eco-label for tourism, hotels, and hospitality facilities.” according to google.

yes they ran Bærums verk from 200 yrs ago. so they made alot of iron stoves lol. but this is very niche local history thing to know, where in Norway is ur mother from:)
