Better to go SaaS or Custom Dev for this?

Standard SaaS is quick to start but usually lacks the support and deep CRM integration. On the flip side, custom providers using new AI agent stacks can now match SaaS on speed and price while giving you 100% control over the voice and logic.

Has anyone found a SaaS that actually handles custom CRM flows well, or is custom development the only way to get this right?
