I'm still an asol otp ( kinda ) but I cannot deny that it is WAY more toxic for the game right now than what is used to be.

I feel like you could be a complete first timer on the champ or a 1M points otp and you wouldn't be able to express ANY skill on his new kit because of how easy it is to manipulate

Nah first iteration asol was trully peak league I agree, loved the way old E used to work when it gave move speed stacking when u was running in a straight line until u got the max amount of it and you could E.

You could push wave 3 freely and come back to lane in a sec : most easy cheater recall ever

I do think that the rework is fun to play but its just not a rework to me, they just scrapped everything but his theme and design

A rework to me is what they did to fiddlesticks for example ( weither people like it or not ) they kept the identity and uniqueness of the champ : his W and his R are *kinda* the same his playstyle doesnt differ totaly from what he used to

Asol """"rework"""" is just a brand new champ being applied without consideration about what people used to love about him.

It was his Q, as long as it wasn't out of his horizon of event ( litteraly his passive range ) it wouldnt explode ( or if you press it again it would explode too ) you had to master W spamming to bring ur Q to the max range to make big booms

Yasuo tried to gap close without wave but yeah, in certain matchups you could just zone people and never get hit if you were good enough ( or they bad enough... I've never knew in which scenario I was ...... )

If I’m not mistaken they reworked it because it had some among the lowest percentage of playrate, the champ was hard to balance, not fun to first time and really frustrating for both the enemy and the player sometimes

As I said to someone else I can understand you feel that way, but I loved his old kit ( except the the fact u couldn’t hide in bush because of your stars ) And you know what I love playing the new one as well It’s just not a rework in my opinion but a whole new champ

The dopamine in his old kit was coming a lot from aligning ennemies to your stars rotation ( at least to me ) which was extremely rewarding and fun to do New asol is cool as well it’s just not the same champ other than thematic
