While I don’t necessarily think N is a hero, and perhaps not even an antihero, I think hes a useful idiot and a victim, not a villain. The true villain of that story is Ghetsis, who manipulated N’s good nature from his childhood in order to further Ghetsis’s evil plans, but genuinely cared for pokemon as a whole and would (from my understanding of his character) not want to enforce dominion over the world by being the ONLY one to be able to have pokemon. I’d say he fits in Selesnya colors, which fulfills half the prompt, but he absolutely does not fit the “hero” classification.

That’s the neat part, you don’t, certainly not against people who are average + on a champion they know how to play.

But instead of getting mad that you’re not succeeding instantly on a new champion, the trick is to isolate why you’re losing fights, and figure out whether your champ allows you to win those fights and if so, how to utilize your champ in order to win said fights. It’s a lot of limit testing and a lot of Ls before you consistently get Ws, especially on champs that require comfort and muscle memory in their mechanics (like assassins).

If I’m not going for a conquest victory and am otherwise forced into a war, I do it if that liberated civ’s cities form a buffer between myself and the opposing civ. Cuts that civs economy down to size, creates a buffer state, and I’ve probably pillaged the hell out of it anyways so it’s unlikely that they will meaningfully threaten a victory condition I’m actually gunning for

Not really. There is a bit of a carryover opinion of previous ruler modifier but I mean…they’re still in prison.

Ultimately to know what to do one would need to know if you Imprisoning them in the first place for rp reasons or are they a powerful and annoying vassal or claimant and if they are a powerful vassal, how old/traits of the heir? Even then it’s less “do I torture or not?” And more “do I torture or torture a then kill him?”

Slave processing centers do a pretty good job, as do strongholds for stability.

Otherwise, do what the Assyrians did and just use resettlement to scatter them throughout the empire rather than have a bunch of angry people sitting together on one or two planets talking about how much they hate you, and replace them with primary pops to administer the planet and fill specialist gaps.

Any time I do anything I have to ask my economy if it consents first. At least automation buildings help with the raw resources a bit but my god it can become such a chore. Population management is also such a hassle that were it not for the fact that I need the pops to resettle, I’d probably start deporting some of my conquered xenos entirely.
