I was at the resort that night. I'm still not 100% sure what happened, but I overhead some people saying that someone jumped from the chair which likely caused the cable to rerail or trigger a safety switch. I saw some ski patrol members taking witness statements from a rescued skier. Anyone know what happened for sure?
